Are you a Medical Assistant or Medical Receptionist subject matter expert? Have a passion for Healthcare and like to work in several offices? Anne Arundel Dermatology may have the job for you! We are currently hiring for a Traveling Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist that is open to working in multiple locations.






  • Monitors work flow and ensures adherences to policies and procedures; recommends and/or implements changes as necessary to maintain an efficient clinic and positive work environment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality related to medical records and other data. Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Promote a positive, fair, and open environment.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of regulations, standards, policies, and practices of all aspects of your work area.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with HIPPA standards and OSHA Standard Precautions.
  • Keep in communication with the Regional Director regarding progress, issues, and/or other pertinent information pertaining to operations and smooth implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Completes special projects as assigned by supervisor or Regional Director.



  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent hospital program preferred/Successful completion of Medical Administrative Assistant program or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years as a Medical Assistant or Medical Receptionist in a clinical environment preferred.
  • Ability to travel to all offices within AAD which may require some overnight stay.  Mileage and accommodations would be covered.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:


  • Medical Assistant Certification is preferred
  • Dermtech course is required but provided by employer
