The Marketing Analyst will provide valuable insights that enable informed decision-making, optimize marketing efforts, and unlock growth opportunities by harnessing the power of data. The Marketing Analyst will be part of the Marketing team and report directly to the Vice President (VP) of Marketing.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions.
  • Tracks, reports, and analyzes the performance of marketing activities.
  • Completes ad-hoc marketing analytic requests, and sources data from SQL data warehouse.
  • Works closely with data team to develop marketing data, connecting with business data within the SQL data warehouse.
  • Builds and maintains PowerBI data models, visualizations and reports for all marketing activities.
  • Evaluates customers’ online behavior and provides insights and recommendations for further enhancements to the guest experience.
  • Analyzes A/B and multi-variate tests. Communicates results and provides relevant recommendations.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments.
  • Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product development) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • PowerBI, Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Advanced analytic and statistical techniques related to multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Ability to build and automate management level reporting.
  • Knowledge of the following analytical tools: modeling and reporting in Excel/Access and SQL.
  • Ability to operate Google Analytics or similar web analytics, web optimization, or data management platforms.
  • Statistical analysis (SAS or R).
  • Interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Licensure/Certifications/Education

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or graduate degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of work experience in marketing research, statistical/data analysis, or an academic equivalent.
