We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our finance team at a leading private equity-backed dermatology practice management organization. This role will work hand in hand with Regional Financial Managers to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making to drive operational and financial efficiency across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry, and is eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Salary range: $73,000-$85,000 depending upon years of experience

 

Hybrid position- 3 days in person required, with 2 days a week WFH. 2-4 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or other closely related Analyst position is required.

 

Responsibilities

 

· Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

· Analyze revenue and expense variances, assess financial risks, and recommend corrective actions.

· Assist in evaluating clinic-level cost structures such as medical supply costs and overhead expenses, to identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Support Regional Finance Managers with preparing financial forecasts, reports, Ad Hoc analysis, and company growth strategies.

· Assist in developing the annual budget process with direct ownership of company overheard budgeting.

· Provide support with evaluating opportunities, assessing ROI, and providing financial guidance for strategic decision-making.

· Assist in the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives.

· Prepare financial reports, analyses, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.

· Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Support Regional Finance Managers by extracting, analyzing, and interpreting financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.

· Continuously improve financial planning processes and models to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

· Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

· Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial statements, and financial modeling techniques.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

· Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting tools, and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are essential.

· Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization platforms is a plus.

· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

· Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards in the healthcare sector.

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

 

Licensure/Certifications/Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

· 2-4 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably in multi-site healthcare organizations, dermatology practices, or medical groups.

· Experience in private equity-backed companies is favored.
