We are currently hiring for an Esthetician. This position will be working alongside some of the top Clinicians in the area.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:  Responsible for the delivery of elective skin care services for patients and working under the supervision of the Physicians. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and other medication. Ensures the patient is satisfied with elective skin care services and products recommended and continues to return to receive skin care treatment. 

 
Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provides patients with complimentary consultations regarding skincare services. 
  • Provides patients with instructions and educational materials that relate to their unique skin type and recommend adjustments to their skincare regimen as appropriate. 
  • Determines patient skincare goals and objectives and recommends products and services that can reasonably facilitate attainment of those goals. 
  • Seeks advice and supervision of Physicians as required on treatment protocols and notifies the physician of any patient noncompliance. 
  • Responsible for the coordination of any correspondence to patients regarding their skincare treatment plan, product usage, or home care instructions.  
  • Maintains patient medical records detailing all treatment procedures, elective products, medication history, and educational materials received. 
  • Keeps Physician and staff updated on current product information, availability and use.  
  • Responsible for facilitating training of staff on new products, procedures, and equipment. 
  • Monitors equipment to ensure proper operation and maintains said equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines on spreadsheet.  
  • Maintains treatment rooms and work area in compliance with OSHA standards on weekly checklist. 
  • Orders and stocks inventory and supplies as needed for maintaining treatment rooms and retail area. 
  • Maintain a valid Esthetician license in accordance with state regulations 
  • Assures that patients receive any special orders or backordered products. 
  • Work with Crane and vendors to create monthly special. 
  • Provide special information to marketing to have flyers created, email blasts sent and social media sites updatedPost materials in all office locationsExam room to have monthly specials only. 
  • Communicate specials with providers and staff via email or with an in-service for new products or procedures. 
  • Event Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate event days with reps, Office Manager, Providers and event staff. 
  • Keep current list of patients that have been asked to be notified of upcoming specials.  
  • Other duties assigned as deemed necessary by management. 

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Possess wide-ranging knowledge of skincare treatment, elective services and products. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to work and communicate as a team member. 
  • Well organized and attentive to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Treats patients and co-workers with respect. 
  • Empathetic with patient needs and concerns. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • High School graduate or GED 
  • Current Esthetician license 

  

Physical Requirements: 

  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time. 
  • Moderate amount of talking, bending, twisting, reaching and balancing. 
  • Lifting and carrying of up to 30 lbs. 
  • Risk of exposure to infectious organisms and the possibility of injury due to chemicals and sharp objects.
