We are a premier dermatology group with more than 50 years of service across 7 states. We are seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (minimum 2 years of dermatology experience) to join our established Wheaton, MD office.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a busy, well-respected practice with a loyal patient base. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team that allows you to focus on what matters most — delivering outstanding care to your community.

 

Compensation: $120,000+ base salary plus unlimited bonus potential

 

Responsibilities

  • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care our patients deserve.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all medical protocols, standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Adhere to designated standards and protocols for medical documentation for services performed.
  • Review all new client intake forms, document client treatments and plans of care.
  • Build patient partnerships by appropriately matching patient needs to the various services and products offered and clearly educating the patient on how they will receive the most benefit.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of Clinical Dermatology services and treatments
  • Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Well organized, efficient, and able to operate in a busy work environment
  • Team oriented
  • Operates in a transparent manner with integrity
  • Willingness to succeed and grow individually as well as part of a team

 

Licensure/Certifications/Education

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner 
  • Active and unrestricted State Medical license or ability to obtain
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and (CDS) for prescription writing
