Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Tampa office. This full-time position offers a four-day work week and will feature a mix of general dermatology and aesthetics, with a primary focus on cosmetics.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies and laboratory work.
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform cosmetic treatments and educate patients on available aesthetic services and products.
  • Review patient intake forms and accurately document treatments and plans of care.
  • Build long-term patient relationships by matching each patient’s needs with appropriate medical and cosmetic services.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing clinical and product training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Experience providing cosmetic treatments strongly preferred.
  • Committed to delivering efficient, high-quality care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Interest in building long-term patient relationships and contributing to practice growth.

Licensure/Certifications/Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Active and unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Current DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.
