Dermatology Specialists of Augusta, an affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a Dermatologist to join our established practice serving Augusta and Evans, Georgia. Experienced Dermatologists and dermatology residents will be considered, with flexible full-time and part-time schedule options available.

The position also offers a $150,000 sign-on bonus for full-time physician , uncapped earning potential, experienced clinical leadership, and strong operational support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
  • Conduct biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures within the physician’s training and experience.
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up care and manage patients’ long-term dermatologic needs.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, skincare, and preventive care.
  • Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately in EMA.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and practice leadership to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, professionalism, and compliance.
  • Build strong patient relationships and contribute to the long-term growth of the practice.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist.
  • Experienced Dermatologists and dermatology residents are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of medical and surgical dermatology.
  • Interest in cosmetic dermatology is welcomed but not required.
  • Comfortable managing an established patient base and growing clinical schedule.
  • Committed to providing efficient, high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in building lasting patient relationships and contributing to long-term practice growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.

Licensure/Certifications/Education

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of, or current enrollment in, an accredited dermatology residency program.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology.
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
