Dermatology Institute for Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Surgery, an Affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon to join our established practice in Newnan, Georgia. This opportunity offers a combination of Mohs surgery and general dermatology with flexible full-time and part-time schedule options.

 

Build your practice with an established patient base, strong referral network, experienced clinical leadership, and dedicated operational support. The position also offers a $150,000 sign-on bonus for full-time physicians, uncapped earning potential, and the autonomy to shape your schedule and clinical mix. The physician’s work location will be based in Newnan and will include supervision responsibilities for the LaGrange practice only.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Mohs micrographic surgery and provide high-quality surgical dermatology care.
  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic general dermatologic conditions.
  • Conduct skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up care.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, skin cancer prevention, and post-procedure care.
  • Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately in EMA.
  • Provide physician supervision for the LaGrange practice in accordance with organizational and state requirements.
  • Collaborate with referring providers, clinical staff, and practice leadership to support coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, professionalism, and compliance.
  • Build strong patient and referral relationships that contribute to long-term practice growth.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist with fellowship training in Mohs surgery.
  • Experience performing Mohs micrographic surgery independently.
  • Interest in practicing a combination of Mohs surgery and general dermatology.
  • Comfortable managing an established patient base and growing clinical schedule.
  • Ability to provide physician supervision for the LaGrange practice.
  • Committed to providing efficient, high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in building lasting patient and referral relationships and contributing to long-term practice growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.

Licensure/Certifications/Education

  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of an accredited dermatology residency program.
  • Successful completion of a Mohs surgery fellowship.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology.
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
